Whether you’re a new Tenno or a seasoned player, understanding how to earn and use Platinum is essential. Here’s a comprehensive guide:
1. What Is Platinum?

  • Platinum is the premium currency in Warframe.
  • It can be used for various purposes, including buying Warframes, weapons, cosmetics, slots, and other in-game items.
2. How to Earn Platinum:

    While you can purchase Platinum with real money, there are ways to earn it in-game without spending a dime. Here are some methods:
  • a. Trading:
    • Player-to-player trading is the primary way to earn Platinum.
    • Trade in a Clan Dojo's trading post — join or create a Clan with a trading room, then both players invite each other and walk up to the post. You must be at least Mastery Rank 2 to trade.
    • Here’s what you can trade:
      • Prime Parts: Farm Prime parts from Void Fissures and sell them to other players.
      • Mods: Sell rare or valuable mods (such as Corrupted Mods) to interested buyers.
      • Syndicate Augments: Syndicates offer augment mods that can be traded.
      • Riven Mods: High-quality Riven mods can fetch a good price.
      • Arcanes: Farm Arcanes from Eidolons, missions and the end-game loop, then sell them.

      • Blueprints & Components: Most raw resources cannot be traded — Nitain Extract, for example, is NOT tradeable and only comes from Nightwave. Trade finished blueprints and parts instead.
