  • Let’s delve into the fascinating world of Focus Schools in Warframe. Focus Schools are specialized skill trees that enhance your Operator’s abilities and provide unique passives. 1. Basics of Focus Schools:

  • Focus Schools are separate skill trees for your Operator.
  • Each school offers different abilities, passives, and playstyles.
  • You can unlock and switch between schools as you progress through the game.
2. Unlocking Focus Schools:

    To unlock Focus Schools, follow these steps:
      a. Complete “The Second Dream” Quest:
      • Progress through the main storyline until you reach “The Second Dream” quest.
      • Completing this quest introduces you to the concept of Focus and unlocks your Operator’s abilities.
      b. Complete “The War Within” Quest:
      • After “The Second Dream,” continue the story to unlock “The War Within” quest
      • Completing this quest allows you to choose and specialize in a specific Focus School.
3. Choosing a Focus School:

  • Once you’ve unlocked Focus, visit the Focus menu in your Orbiter.
  • You’ll have five schools to choose from
    • 1. Madurai: Offensive-oriented, increases damage output.
    • 2. Naramon: Focused on melee combat and agility.
    • 3. Unairu: Provides offensive support.
    • 4. Vazarin: Offers defensive support.
    • 5. Zenurik: Focuses on energy management.
4. Focus Nodes and Abilities:

  • Each Focus School has a set of nodes that you can unlock using Focus Points.
  • Nodes enhance your Operator’s abilities, grant passives, and improve gameplay.
  • Spend Focus Points wisely to unlock nodes that align with your playstyle.
5. Waybounds and Eidolon Shards:

  • Waybound Nodes:
    • Waybounds are special nodes that enhance your Operator’s abilities and passives.
    • They require Eidolon Shards to unlock.
    • Waybounds can be used across different Focus Schools.
    • Unlock them strategically based on your preferences.
  • Eidolon Shards:

    • They're required to unbind (unlock across all schools) your Waybound nodes.
    • Brint/Jade/Chrystaliac shards unlock the way around the operator tree as you climb.
6. Focus Farming:

  • To earn Focus Points, engage in activities that grant Affinity to your Operator
    • Eidolon Hunts: Defeat Eidolons during nighttime on the Plains of Eidolon.
    • Sanctuary Onslaught: Participate in Elite Sanctuary Onslaught missions.
    • Focus Lenses: Equip Focus Lenses on your gear to convert Affinity into Focus Points.
7. Tips and Tricks:

  • Focus Lenses:
    • Attach Focus Lenses to your Warframes, weapons, and companions.
    • Lenses convert a portion of earned Affinity into Focus Points for the equipped school.
  • Daily Focus Cap:
    • There’s a daily cap on how much Focus you can earn.
    • Focus farming becomes more efficient when you reach higher Mastery Ranks.
8. The Expanded Focus (2025–2026):

  • Focus grew well beyond the classic five trees. The 2025 expansion (with The Old Peace and beyond) introduced:
    • Tauron Strikes — a new way to spend Focus and gain Operator power, tied to the spiritualization of your Operator.
    • Tektolyst Artifacts — an Operator-exclusive weapon class with a mod and Arcane pool of its own.
    • Antique Mods and Tektolyst Artifact Arcanes — a new customization layer for the most veteran Operators.
    • New nodes were added across every school, so the trees run deeper than ever.
  • The daily Focus cap still applies, and Focus Lenses still convert Affinity — stack lenses on Affinity-rich runs like Elite Sanctuary Onslaught to respect the cap fast.
