1. Star Chart Rare Resource Hotspots
- Orokin Cells — Saturn > Helene (Survival/Defense) is the classic grind; General Sargas Ruk (Tethys) drops them fast on assassination.
- Neural Sensors — Jupiter > Cameria (Spy) or a Jupiter Survival; Alad V (Themisto) assassination remains a solid source.
- Neurodes — Earth > Coba (Defense), or Lua Survival for a steady drip.
- Gallium — Mars > War (Nef Anyo assassination) is the fastest dedicated source.
- Morphics — Mars (Mercury > Apollodorus Survival works too) — they pile up almost everywhere on the inner worlds.
- Tellurium — Uranus > Ophelia (Survival); also the best spot for Plastids and Polymer Bundles at once.
- Mutagen Samples — Deimos > Cambion Drift bounties and vaults (no more Orokin Derelict keys — the Drift replaced it).
- Oxium & Hexenon — Jupiter > Io (Defense) for Oxium; Jupiter Survival for Hexenon.
- Argon Crystals — Void > Mot or any Void node. Remember Argon decays in 24 hours, so build the moment it's done.
- Nano Spores & plastids — Deimos/Dark Sector defense nodes drop them in fat stacks.
- Detonite Ampules & Fieldron — come from Invasion rewards (and Nightwave), not the ground.

2. Post–Star Chart Resources
- Void Traces — every Void Fissure run refunds traces for refining relics. Radshare with a squad to quadruple the rate.
- Steel Essence — Steel Path Acolytes (and Steel Path Railjack completions) drop it. Spend it at Teshin's store. See Steel Path.
- Stela — the Sanctum Anatomica currency for Archon Shard fusion and Cavia wares — farmed in Sanctum content.
- Nightwave Cred — not a map drop, but the easiest path to Nitain Extract, Orokin Reactors/Catalysts and slots. See our Returning Player Guide.
- 1999 loot — Höllvania missions (Hell-Scrub, Assassination, Legacyte Harvest) drop the year-1999 resources used by Hex wares and Coda weaponry.

3. Farming Tips That Actually Work
- Bring a loot frame — Nekros (Desecrate), Khora (with Pilfering Strangledome), or Hydroid (Tentacle Swarm augment) increase drops on kills. A squad with one loot frame and one nuker is the meta.
- Retriever companions — Loyal Retriever (or Resourceful Retriever) companions now give a chance to double resource pickups. Equip one while you farm. See Companion changes.
- Break containers — breakable containers have meaningfully higher rare-resource drop rates than lockers; smash everything as you move.
- Run multiple goals at once — pick a node that also yields a Prime part, a faction (see Syndicates) reputation, or a weapon component, so every minute counts double.
- Use boosters from events — double resource boosters from Nightwave/invasions/small purchases stack with a farming session and cut the grind in half.
